Geotechnical Engineering
|
Geotechnical engineering embraces the knowledge of how soil, rock and water interact with foundations and engineered structures. This knowledge comes through an understanding of soil and rock mechanics, groundwater hydrology, foundation engineering and construction techniques. Ready to work anywhere, DBA staff, comprising a team of highly skilled geoscientists, environmental scientists and environmental engineers. We have undertaken a widespread range of geotechnical engineering projects in a variety of geographical environments and geological conditions. Geotechnical engineering is as much an art as it is a science and not amenable to precise analysis. It relies on pertinent data collection and analysis, practical experience and mature judgment, with the intention of making accurate and practical recommendations for the geotechnical design of a project.
